This seems like a basic RIA and and it's one of the first things a new Flex user will see. If Adobe is to pioneer the RIA industry, its examples should be top of the line.
Suggestions:
Option to mute background music.
Draw attention to the weak navigation inside the SWF. It's too easy to abort the presentation using the more numerous HTML navigation buttons.
Add a Replay button rather than forcing users to go Back and then Forward.
Something indicating that the section is complete would be nice. Each segment seems to end in an awkward silence.

A simple, short overview of Flex for completely new Flex developers.
Couple of suggestions:
1. Make a downloadable transcript available.
2. Include an option to turn the background music off.
