Image not showing on the screen while using Generative Fill

If the screen doesn't load your image after you upload it to the Firefly web app, check if there's an update available for your browser. Make sure you're using the most recent version.

Unable to use Firefly features with Shared Device Licenses

We know you’re excited to deploy Adobe Firefly generative AI features to your users, but Shared Device Licenses don't include services - only desktop apps. For access to Adobe Firefly generative AI features, contact your IT admin to assign a named user license or an Adobe Express license to you.

Prompts and language errors

Translation errors or prompt isn’t accurately translated

We currently support prompts in over 100 languages using machine translation to English provided by Microsoft Translator. Because of each language's nuances, some generations based on translated prompts may be inaccurate or unexpected. The Firefly team is working hard to identify and resolve any issues as we find them. At the same time, you can report negative translation results using the Report 🚩 tool available in every image.

Prompt triggers a language warning

There may be cases where short English prompts (typically one word) may be erroneously identified as an unsupported language, simply expand your prompt to multiple words, and the error will be resolved. For the best prompt experience, use three or more words to describe what you imagine. Learn more about writing effective prompts.

Prompt can't be processed

If you see the "We can't process this prompt" message, reword your prompt and try again. Make sure that the prompt follows the generative AI user guidelines.

Can't enter a prompt and change the style without refreshing images

When you input a new prompt, you must refresh the images. Soon you'll be able to type a prompt and change the theme and style without refreshing the images.

Limitations with generated results

Text appears distorted and unclear in the generated images

We know that there are artifacts in some scenarios. However, text and symbol generation in images isn't supported yet in the Text to Image feature. You can provide feedback or report images with distorted or unclear text to let us know. If you're trying to create just text, try using the Text Effects feature.

Body features like faces, fingers, and toes appear unrealistic in the images

The quality of our models will improve with time, and generated content will better respect the prompt. You can provide feedback or report images with distorted facial or body features to let us know.

Firefly doesn't know about famous people or brands

Firefly only generates images of public figures available for commercial use on the Stock website, excluding editorial content. It shouldn't generate public figures unavailable in the Stock data.

Generated letters are inconsistent while using Text Effects

Text effects are meant to produce various appearances. In the future, we’ll investigate offering options for producing more uniform output.

Firefly restricting content and image generation

Generative credits are how Adobe provides access to generative AI features powered by Adobe Firefly. Generative credits are debited from your monthly balance when you submit a text or media-based prompt that results in newly generated outputs. However, Adobe reserves the right to limit, disable, suspend, or terminate your right to use or access the generative AI features at any time in our sole discretion. Use of Firefly is governed by the generative AI user guidelines and the Creative Cloud generative AI additional terms.

Favorited image issues

Styles weren't saved with my favorited image

Images favorited that use reference images or the ones generated using Show similar aren't yet optimized and may produce inconsistent results. Also, very long prompts may discard applied Styles when being saved. We are working on fixing this issue.

Favorited generations in Firefly deleted

Favorites are saved using your browser data, so they won't be available on another browser, in incognito mode, or if you clear your browser data. When you first sign in, you might need to refresh the Favorites page to view your favorites. If you're low on available disk space, the browser might delete your favorites. To access your images generated from the Text to Image and Text Effects features on other browsers and devices, save the images to Creative Cloud Libraries.
